October 25

  1.  Management was informed through Project Detailed Proposal.
  2. Briefing on project demands and action plan.
  3. Letters to the parents containing: introduction of iEARN , PBL and topic of respective project, learning outcomes were sent.

October 26

  1. Introduction of Project to class.
  2. Group formation (4 groups of 5 students and 1 group of 4 students)
  3. First Activity Introduced. (Recipe collection)
  4. Dividing Recipes in Sections: Breakfast, Rice, Lentils, Vegetables, Curries, Barbecue, Desserts, Beverages. (one section at a time)
  5. Set of Instructions' handouts passed on.

October 27-November 05

  1. Daily Feed Back written recipes. (writing instruction Rubric)

Comments:
 I am lucky that my school had already been in full support of the project. Therefore, I didnt face any problem. Formalities were over far more quickly that I was anticipating.
 
Students's response is really good. We have already started collecting recipies. Initially I had planned for only one recipe but we had so much fun when the first enteries came back that after discussion my students opted to expand their research.
 
We are done with Breakfast and have moved on the the next Section i.e. Rice
 
Our scanner is unavailable at the moment but I am hoping to upload my students work by next week.

 We have done everything in activity 1 and 2 of this step. we need to clear up some tehnological problems to complete the third one.

 I know I am 'quite' late. But my senior students are getting ready for their college exams and this time of the year is most hectic for both teahers and our students.
 
My class 8 had been most supportive through all this tme. Between class work and home tasks we have managed a steady flow of work during all this time.
