This year I tried not to commit the same mistake as I did last year. The year before I had left a place for the school principal and asked his permission for letting the students work on the project but this year I did not do so, as the principal who hopefully is now in Iran had not let some of my good students work on the project just because they had some problems with him/her. I was working in both girls' and boys' school and the principals were couples who reported the news to each other each day. |

students are eagerly working on iEARN.org as well as www.myhero.com. some studnets are concerned on how whom they should choose as their hero and some have chosen their heroes and are speaking with others. the students should get help from their teacher and others who are more experienced. |

This step coincides with the students final exam, the Qatar independence Day and some other ceremonies in Iranian schools in Doha. The teacher is mostly worried about his students final exam result and he rarely can see his students. |

Dear All
Studnts were not that successful working on the iearn.org; nevertheless, they worked on my printed posts on the site. they also expressed their views on their heroes. Some tried to put some posts on the site but...I have registered more boys on the iearn this year but they seem to be less active than the last year girls. they like to work but they seem to know less or be busier than younger students. |

This was the near final step of the students. after they were asigned to some tasks to follow, some came back full-handed while some others quit. Amongst the topics and heroes who were chosen were the Islamic heroes like Bin Sina, Amir Kabir, Hafez, and inventor Edison. One of the students worked on the Holy Prophet Mohammad as his hero. and the other student had chosen his uncles, his mother's brothers as his heroes.
I also had my own hero whom I talked about later on iEARN site.

It was the last phase of the project in which just some students remained while many others left.
Students evaluation was the hardest part. In iranian system of education the teacher has only 25 percent to put his own assessment for the students mark and most of the time that is often carefully examined by the supervisors. Now I faced the problem, what should I have done with the perfect job that my students have done. They should have recieved the full score in their couse but I was not freely allowed to do that. Hopefully most of the students were intrinsicallly motivated and did not expect such marks. Most of them liked the idea of open house and enjoying the present
ation of their project to so many others.
